Yorktown Man Violates Protection Order, Harasses Victims: PD

After being arraigned, the man was served with another order of protection, police said.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of violating a order of protection and harassing the protected people.

The Yorktown Police Department said Neil M. Quinn, 44, of Yorktown, was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree harassment, violations, and second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.

Police said, on Sunday, an officer took a complaint about harassment and a violation of an order of protection that previously happened at a Yorktown home.

The investigation found that Quinn violated the duly served order of protection issued in the Westchester County Family Court by harassing two of the protected parties.

He was arrested at the residence Monday and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

Quinn was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and was served with another order of protection.

He was released on his own recognizance to return to the Yorktown Justice Court July 21.
