Yorktown Police To Host National Night Out Event

The national event is meant to build neighborhook camaraderie and police-community relations.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Police Department will host a National Night Out event Tuesday with food, fun, games, and a chance to build community camaraderie.

National Night Out is a community policing awareness-raising event in the United States; it is held the first Tuesday of August.

The first one in 2021 was a huge success, with assistance from the Yorktown Police Benevolent Association and the Yorktown Lions.
