Yorktown Woman Causes $4K in Damages to Husband's Car, Police Vehicle

Police are investigating a domestic dispute in Yorktown that led to the arrest of a 39-year-old woman, who allegedly backed her vehicle into her husband's vehicle and later damaged a police car.
were summoned to Woodland Drive on July 17 at about 1:24 p.m. and learned that the defendant, Michelle Martino, allegedly intentionally backed her vehicle into her husband's vehicle several times, causing damage of more than $3,000.
When Martino allegedly became agitated and unruly, she was placed in the rear of a police patrol vehicle. While in the rear of that vehicle she kicked at the rear door causing damage to the door frame and window valued at $975, police said.

The woman was charged with two counts of felony criminal mischief for the intentional damage to both vehicles.
Martino was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. She was due back in on July 19.
