Yorktown Woman Threatens Victim With Kitchen Knife: Police
Police said she also punched and scratched the victim, causing minor injuries.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown woman was accused of punching and scratching another person and then threatening them with a knife.
The Yorktown Police Department said Keyla Contreres Jimenez, 24, of Yorktown, was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree menacing and third-degree assault, misdemeanors.
According to the police, shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday, officers were sent to a reported domestic dispute.

Once at the scene, they began an investigation and said they found Jimenez had punched and scratched the victim in the head and body following a verbal dispute, causing minor injuries.
She then threatened the victim with a knife she got from the kitchen, police said.

Jiminez was handcuffed and taken to the police headquarters for processing.
She was arraigned by a judge who issued a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim.
Jiminez is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court March 21.
