• RFPs solicited for mural (roanoke-chowannewsherald.com) — Ahoskie’s Town Council has opened a global call for artists to paint a new mural on the Youth Center wall beside the Ahoskie Police Department on West Main Street. Proposals are due Dec. 30, with design approval Jan. 12 and painting scheduled for Jan. 14–23, all within a $2,500 budget.
