• Randolph County commissioners dissolve library board (randolphrecord.com) — Randolph County commissioners have voted 3–2 to dissolve the county library board after controversy over keeping the transgender-themed children’s book “Call Me Max” in the Asheboro main library. A packed special meeting at the historic courthouse featured sharply divided public comments, and it’s still unclear how and when a new board will be appointed to oversee library policies and materials.
