Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation At North Carolina School: Officials
Pender High School was cleared after a bomb threat was called in Thursday. Authorities are sweeping the school.
BURGAW, NC — Students have been evacuated after a bomb threat was called into Pender High School Thursday morning, according to school officials.
Students were taken to Malpass Corner Elementary School while the Pender County Sheriff's Office "assesses the situation," the school announced. Officials aren't releasing students from school, but parents make pick up their children at the Malpass Corner gymnasium if they wish.
