Cape Hatteras National Seashore Ranked Top Spot to Watch a Sunrise
Cape Hatteras was just announced as the 3rd best spot along the East Coast to watch a sunrise.

The sunrise is a stunning event that most people miss each day. The misconception is that a once-in-a-lifetime location is required to make the view worth it. In truth, there are easily accessible and amazingly picturesque spots to watch a sunrise all along the eastern United States. Luckily for North Carolinians, Cape Hatteras National Seashore is one of them. It was just announced as the 3rd best spot along the East Coast to watch a sunrise.
Beyond being simply breathtaking, Cape Hatteras has its own unique attributes. For example, it’s the state’s easternmost point and consequently the first to see the crest of the morning sun. Additionally, sea turtles often visit this National Park in the summertime and camping is permitted nearby, both of which provide an immersive beach experience. Overall, this is a North Carolina shoreline that can’t be missed.
The entire top 10 list of East Coast sunrise spots is shown in the graphic below. Other locations on the list include Cadillac Mountain in Maine and Tybee Island in Georgia. This ranking was put together by the team at Next Day Blinds.
