The first class of FTCC’s Property Maintenance Technician program celebrated its completion with a ceremony held Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Center for Business & Industry.
The Property Maintenance Technician program, which was developed with input from the Greater Fayetteville Apartment Association and Wellons Realty, Inc., is a seven-week course designed to introduce the fundamental elements of construction and maintenance, ranging from electrical and HVAC basics to plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliance repair and painting. Students who complete the course earn EPA Refrigerant Recovery/Recycling, OHSA 10 Construction and Certified Pool Operator certificates.
