Fayetteville Technical Community College: FTCC Men's Basketball's Journey To The Final Four

The excitement was powerful inside Methodist University’s March F. Riddle Center Tuesday night, as FTCC hosted the Region 10 NJCAA quarterfinals. The #3 FTCC men’s basketball team defeated #6 Pitt Community College in a 74-63 victory.

FTCC students, athletes, faculty and staff came by the dozens to support the Trojans.  They donned black and gold celebration beads and cheered their team on to the next step toward the NJCAA Region 10 Championship title.

Basketball coach, Brian Hurd couldn’t have been prouder of his team as they played hard and with an effective defense to hold a very talented Pitt team to just 63 points.

The next stop will be Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 7 p.m. when our Trojans meet up against #2 Wake Tech Eagles in Raleigh.  Once again, supporters will caravan to the game to cheer on the home team as we get one step closer to the championship title.
