FTCC and the NC Military Business Center hosted the North Carolina Board of Technology, Science and Innovation on Feb. 8, 2022. The group included FTCC President Dr. J. Larry Keen and Senior Vice President of Academic and Student Services Dr. Mark Sorrells, as well NCMBC Executive Director Scott Dorney, NC Rep. John Szoka, and Sen. Kirk deViere.

The group started their day touring the Airborne & Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville and Fayetteville Technical Community College facilities, including the science labs, anatomy lab, funeral services, and the cybersecurity operations center. Following the tours, FTCC and NCMBC hosted the board meeting on campus.
