On Monday, a unanimous vote affecting servicemembers pay advanced to President Barack Obama for signature.
Prior to the midnight deadline the Senate passed H.R.3210, a bill making continuing appropriations for military pay in the event of a Government shutdown.
Civilian employees at Fort Bragg will be in a bind, come midnight. During a shutdown, essential federal employees are expected to report for duty but will have pay delays.
