Fayetteville woman struck in deputy-involved shooting now charged, accused of lunging at deputy with knife: Sheriff (cbs17.com) — A Fayetteville woman wounded in a November deputy-involved shooting on Camden Road in Cumberland County has now been charged with assaulting a family member and a government official. Investigators say she was armed with a knife when deputies arrived, and she remains jailed on more than $100,000 bond while the NCSBI continues its investigation and authorities seek additional information from the public.
