Police say this is the city’s 42nd homicide of 2025 and are still investigating, with no suspect or motive information released yet.

• Greensboro nonprofit spreads holiday cheer to seniors with surprise gifts (abc45.com) — A Greensboro-based home care organization just delivered 265 Christmas gifts and essential items to 61 isolated seniors across the Triad, including Guilford County residents. Options Home Care’s new Silver Angels Program far exceeded its first-year goals thanks to 24 local business sponsors, and organizers hope to expand it into a quarterly community effort that keeps growing beyond Greensboro next year.
