Free Drive-In Movie Planned For Langtree Tree Lighting Event
The annual tree lighting festivities are set to take place Saturday, Nov. 21 in the Langtree community in Mooresville.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Langtree's annual Christmas tree lighting event is set to take place Saturday, Nov. 21 in Mooresville.
This year, the event will feature a number of family-friendly activities, including Christmas caroling, letters for Santa at the North Pole Post Office, food vendors and more.
The event also includes a free drive-in movie showing of Elf.

Schedule of events:
- 5 p.m. — parking begins
- 7:15 p.m. — tree lighting
- 7:30 p.m. — movie begins
The event runs from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Langtree Lake Norman is located at 401 Langtree Road.
