Hocus Pocus Drive-Up Movie Event Planned In Mooresville: Details

MOORESVILLE, NC — The countdown to Halloween is on, and soon fans of Disney's Hocus Pocus will have an opportunity to run amuck while staying socially distanced in a drive-up movie event at Mazeppa Park.

"Movie Madness at Mazeppa Park" drive-up movie event, which features the movie 1993 Halloween classic starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, is set to take place Friday, Oct 16 at the park located at 645 Mazeppa Road.

Costumes are encouraged and free popcorn will be available at the event, say organizers.

How To Get A Ticket
The event requires the purchase of a $20 ticket per vehicle. Tickets must be purchased ahead of the event and are limited to 115 vehicles.

Here's what organizers say about the event:

• Parking for the movie will begin at 6:30 p.m. - all parking areas will be blocked off prior, there will be no early arrivals allowed.
• Movie will begin at dusk (approx. 8 p.m.)
• No passenger vans or buses allowed.
• Sound will be transmitted via an FM radio station and throughout the field.
