Iredell Man Faces List Of Felony Charges After Pawning Stolen Gun
Timothy Chris Stewart, 35, was charged in the breaking and entering the Statesville home after he pawned a stolen gun, ICSO said.
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — A Statesville man was arrested and charged with a list of felonies late last week after authorities said he pawned one of five guns stolen during a home break-in in August.
According to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, the home break-in on Mountain View Road in Statesville was reported Aug. 3. Five guns, along with other items, were reported stolen.
During the course of the investigation, detectives identified Timother Chris Stewart, 35, of Statesville as the primary suspect, and that he pawned one of the stolen guns at Statesville Jewelry and Loan, ICSO said.

Stewart was arrested Oct. 1 on felony arrest warrants that included the following charges: felony breaking and entering; felony larceny after break and enter; felony larceny of a firearm; felony possession of a stolen firearm; and two counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond was set at $25,000.
