Mooresville Police Charge 2 After Talbert Road Vehicle Break-In
MPD later learned that suspect Michael Sharmari Dashaun Joseph, 19, was also wanted on a first degree murder charge.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville police arrested and charged two Charlotte men in connection with a late night vehicle break-in on Talbert Road Saturday. Following their arrest, police said they learned one of the suspects was also wanted on outstanding warrants for first degree murder and attempted first degree murder.
“Once again, Mooresville has been hit hard with breaking/entering of cars,” Assistant Chief Eric Henderson said. “This time, one of the suspects had outstanding warrants from Charlotte for murder. This should serve as a stern warning for anyone who leaves their vehicles unlocked. Criminals hear about easy target areas and this increases other crimes, as well.”
The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 in the 300 block of Talbert Road.
