Mooresville Police Nab 14 In Overnight DWI Checkpoint

A DWI checkpoint Tuesday night in Mooresville led to charges for 14 people, Mooresville Police Department said.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Police aiming to crack down on drivers under the influence set up a DWI Checking Station in Mooresville Tuesday night, netting 14 violations ranging from driving with a revoked license to registration violations and driving while intoxicated.

Officers from Mooresville Police Department, along with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service's Forensic Test for Alcohol branch, conducted the Nov. 17 checkpoint from 9 p.m. to midnight.
