DURHAM, NC — The Streets at Southpoint mall in Durham, North Carolina, was evacuated Friday after at least three people were shot, The News & Observer reported.
One person is reportedly in custody.
The newspaper said the afternoon shooting at the mall, filled with Black Friday shoppers, was confirmed by a city council member, who did not know the conditions of those who were injured.
