  1. Did you know that it is National Adopt a Shelter Cat Month? To celebrate, the Wake County Animal Center is hosting a special feline-only adoption event at which those wishing to adopt a cat can name their price and take home any cat more than six months old. (WRAL News)
  2. Utilizing data from AAA, it was calculated that on June 12, the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.59. This is only a slight increase from the previous week's prices which is good news for summer travelers. (WRAL News)
