Ivybrook Academy Opening New Apex-Holly Springs Location

Ivybrook Academy, an award-winning half day pre-school experiencing continued growth throughout the United States, is opening a second location in the Apex-Holly Springs area. The staff at the Ivybrook Academy campus looks forward to opening its doors to students and families in July of 2022.

Ivybrook Academy, based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, is recognized for its multi-faceted approach to early childhood education. It combines elements of Montessori and Reggio Emilia educational approaches with Multiple Intelligence Research, crafting a balanced curriculum, designed to reflect a child’s interests and learning style.

“There is incredible interest in this area for the unique curriculum offered at Ivybrook Academy,” says Raj Kadumpalli, owner of Ivybrook Holly Springs. Raj, his wife Kavitha, and their two daughters are looking forward to the school opening in just a few months. “We are excited to create this opportunity for children in our community,” Raj explains. “We know we’re providing a valuable option for families, and that is so meaningful to us.”

As parents, Raj and Kavitha feel the philosophy of Ivybrook resonates with them because of the thoughtful curriculum that encourages children to be curious and honors their interests. It’s a value shared by the director of their school, Janet Ballinger, who has been involved in education for more than 20 years. “I believe in the blended approach of Ivybrook’s curriculum. My three boys have been in Montessori schools their entire lives, and I see first-hand the benefits of customized learning — especially in the formative years,” Janet says. “Ivybrook is a wonderful opportunity for young families in the area. This education is beneficial for all children.”
