Karine “Sho-Time” Thornton & GrindSeason Vague Host Explosive Industry Event in Brooklyn for New Reality TV
Explosive industry event in Brooklyn, New York for new Reality Series.

Brooklyn, NY – On May 31st, visionary entrepreneur and entertainment executive Karine “Sho-Time” Thornton, alongside media personality and co-host GrindSeason Vague, lit up Brooklyn with a star-studded industry event in celebration of the upcoming reality TV series SHO-TALK. Held at Confessions Bar & Lounge, the event served as a pre-launch celebration and live filming session—fusing talent, culture, and conversation into a night to remember.
Thornton, the driving force behind SHO-TIMETV, the Sho-Time Battle Rap League, and a key figure in the COD Streaming Network (Content On Demand), continues to build groundbreaking platforms for real talent and authentic storytelling. As President of the New York City Chapters of the Hip Hop Fraternity, founded by Ken Ivy aka Pimpin’ Ken, with James “Cool Breeze” Gray as CEO and Ice-T as National Advisor, ShoTime stands at the forefront of community-driven media.
The SHO-TALK reality series sets out to challenge the norms of traditional reality TV—centering women in stories of strength, vulnerability, creativity, and purpose. “This show gives women space to lead with talent, truth, and confidence—not just conflict,” said Thornton.
