Here are the top stories in Raleigh today:
- Driving in Raliegh this Memorial Day weekend will be less expensive than it was last year. CBS17.com reports, "[that] according to AAA reports, the average gas price in Raleigh is at $3.31 a gallon, more than a dollar cheaper than $4.38 this time last year." (CBS17.com)
- Saturday in Raleigh two cars burst into flames. The incident is being investigated. According to WRAL News, "Responders received the first call of a vehicle fire near Dixon Drive around 2 a.m. Saturday morning. Shortly after the first call, a second vehicle fire was reported on Grand Manor Court. Authorities said the fires are not believed to be an act of arson." (WRAL News)
- Producing technology that will be better at predicting severe weather, Climavision, which is based in Louisville, Kentucky, is building and growing its Raleigh operation. Reportedly the office is housed at the North Carolina State University Centennial Campus. (Triangle Business Journal)
