Residents worry about what will happen if Cary mobile home park closes (newsobserver.com) — Residents of Cary’s Chatham Estates mobile home park fear they’ll be forced out within months if a long-rumored sale and closure go through, threatening one of western Wake’s last affordable communities. Some longtime residents who once lived in Raleigh say they feel safer and more connected in Cary, but now face relocation costs they can’t afford and the loss of nearby schools, church, and neighbors.
