  1. After more than six decades of looking the same, the Raleigh Police Department uniforms are finally getting a facelift. Not only will the new duds look more updated but reportedly, they will also be more comfortable, modern, and advanced to meet the needs of the current-day officers. (WTVD-TV)
  2. On Wednesday afternoon, Raleigh Police officers were involved in a water rescue when they were called to 5428 Allen Drive at the Old Milburnie Dam, at about 3:44 p.m. A 10-year-old boy had reportedly "gotten into trouble" in the Neuse River. According to WRAL News, "By the time help arrived, the boy was out of the water, and he was conscious when taken to the hospital around 4:06 p.m." (WRAL News)
  3. The Raleigh Police Department was called to 9900 Block of Small Oak Lane at 11:24 p.m. Tuesday night for a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a male individual who had been shot. According to WRAL News, "He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing." (WRAL News)
