Symphony & Smiles: Grandparents Day Celebration at The Cardinal at North Hills Hits All the Right Notes

A joyful afternoon of music, family, and intergenerational connection with the North Carolina Symphony and an interactive Instrument Zoo

The Cardinal at North Hills, a Kisco Signature Community, recently hosted a heartwarming Grandparents Day celebration. This intergenerational event featured a performance of Peter and the Wolf by The North Carolina Symphony and an “Instrument Zoo,” where music lovers of all ages, including visiting grandchildren, explored instruments up close.

This celebration sparked connection, curiosity and joy, offering a welcoming space for members and their families to engage, learn, and celebrate together. Programs like these ensure that all members, regardless of care level, can experience music in a fun and accessible way.

Earlier this year, in April, the North Carolina Symphony was on-site for an ensemble concert and led a discussion with members about how a season is curated and how musicians audition.
