• Christmas Happiness Fund: Donation given to keep memory of parents alive (salisburypost.com) — Salisbury resident David Post is honoring his late parents by annually supporting the Christmas Happiness Fund, which now totals $23,594.28 in donations. The fund, run through the Salisbury Post and Salvation Army, helps local children at Christmas, and residents can still give by dropping off or mailing cash or checks to the Post’s West Innes Street office.
   

• Salisbury asks for public comment on microtransit (salisburypost.com) — Salisbury Transit is asking residents to weigh in now on a new microtransit service that will replace Route 3 starting in January. The ride-share-style system will offer same-day trips along the route, and locals can submit comments by phone, email, or mail through Dec. 29 before final plans are set.
   

• Salisbury Academy students spread holiday cheer to Rowan Vocational Opportunities (salisburypost.com) — Middle schoolers at Salisbury Academy recently hosted their 18th annual Christmas Happiness Party for consumers of Rowan Vocational Opportunities, filling the RVO facility with games, crafts, and karaoke. Students also organized a school-wide drive to provide toiletries, warm clothing, and other essentials, turning the long-running tradition into a hands-on lesson in service and community connection.
