Fred Stanback honored as Civitan Club of Salisbury Citizen of the Year (salisburypost.com) — Salisbury’s Civitan Club has named philanthropist Fred Stanback its 2024-2025 Citizen of the Year, recognizing his extensive support for community projects. His recent gifts have helped Spencer create new park space, expand the Stanback Educational Forest, and advance Yadkin River Park and an environmental education center, continuing a strong Salisbury-area legacy of civic leadership.
