Outdoor Rinks, Warming Houses And Sledding Hills Close This Weekend With Cold Temps Coming In Fargo Park District

Warming houses are closed earlier than scheduled in the evenings if the temperatures reach -10 degrees or colder or wind chills at -30.

Due to cold temperatures, the Fargo Park District is closing outdoor rinks, warming houses and sledding hills this weekend at Clara Barton Park, Roosevelt Park, Jefferson Park, Edgewood Chalet and Mickelson Sledding Hill on Friday, December 31 and Saturday, January 1.

All remaining outdoor rinks remain closed due to weather and ice conditions; the remaining rinks are: Horace Mann Park, Madison Park, McKinley Park, Washington Park, Bennett Park, Centennial Park, Lewis & Clark Park, Lincoln Park, Kennedy Park, Lemke Park and Westgate Park.

Regular hours at the warming houses, outdoor rinks and sledding hills resume on January 2, Saturday-Sunday from 12:00-8:00 pm and Monday-Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm.
