Zibolski to request drone as part of technology renewal (am1100theflag.com) — Fargo’s police chief plans to ask the City Commission on Monday for a 10-year, $13.3 million renewal of AXON technology, including body cameras and in-car video. His proposal also adds a drone program that could reach scenes before officers, providing live video to improve response and safety for residents and officers alike.
   

2. West Fargo finally approves 2026 funding for metro bus service after gaining promises (inforum.com) — West Fargo has agreed to pay Fargo-based MATBUS about $451,000 in 2026, keeping metro bus service running while pushing for better routes and new shelters that also affect Fargo connections. Riders can expect added shelters at 10 stops, continued service to key grocery stores, and potential route tweaks next year as officials plan for the 2027 budget.
   

3. Fargo Police Department Requesting Assistance in Locating Vehicle Related to Shooting (kfgo.com) — Fargo police are asking for your help identifying a vehicle tied to a shots-fired incident around 5 a.m. on December 9 in the 3600 block of 42nd Street South. No one was injured, but a nearby structure was hit, and investigators say the car had a dealer plate, temporary tag in the rear window, and a loud exhaust. Tips can be shared directly with FPD or sent anonymously by text.
   

4. Hector International Adds Two Routes, Prepares for Holiday Rush (kfgo.com) — If you’re flying out of Fargo, Hector International has restored its popular seasonal Phoenix flights and added a new permanent Delta route to Atlanta. Airport leaders say traffic is rebounding after a brief government-shutdown dip, but ongoing terminal construction means you should plan to arrive earlier, especially during the holiday rush.
   

5. Fargo driver drives onto sidewalk after mistaking intersection, crashes into railing (valleynewslive.com) — A 20-year-old Fargo driver accidentally drove onto a sidewalk near the 400 block of 10th Street North early Sunday, ending up stuck on a railing in the underpass. Police say the driver confused the location for the 10th Street and Main Avenue intersection, but field sobriety tests showed no impairment. No one was hurt, though the driver was cited for driving on the sidewalk and a license restriction violation.
