Avon Lake Bike Officers Helping Out at RNC
"We have a number of police departments from all over the country for support," a JIC representative told Patch.
The Avon Lake Police Department's bike officers are helping out at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Cleveland this week. They join officers from Cleveland, Wauseon, Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority and the Cleveland Clinic police departments to help provide security for the RNC.
"We have a number of police departments from all over the country for support," a representative from the PD/FBI/Secret Service’s Joint Information Center in Cleveland told Patch.
