Avon Lake Teen Lock-In Sign Up Deadline July 22

AVON LAKE, OHIO — Friday, July 22 is the last day for parents to turn in permission slips and $2.00 for pizza for National Teen Lock-In. The annual event takes place at the Avon Lake Public Library the following Friday, July 29.

The event will feature Skype chats with YA authors Kristen Simmons, Wendy Higgins, Kara Thomas, Miranda Kenneally, Elizabeth Briggs and Nicola Yoon.

The event will be a teens-only party where you can "play hide and seek, do crafts, or run around screaming if you want," according to the Avon Lake Public Library's events calendar.

Making noise at the library? Now, that's a party.
