ELYRIA, OH — An all-clear was announced after Lorain County Community College campuses closed Thursday afternoon due to a bomb threat, college officials said in an alert.

Everyone was asked to evacuate while an investigation was underway, but no threat was found, officials said in an updated alert posted at 6:45 p.m.

The threat came through an online student chat portal, Cleveland 19 reports.
