  1. If you are in need of supplemental food items this holiday season you can go to St. Barnabus Community Cupboard, located at the corner of Wolf and Bradley roads in Bay Village. According to the town of Avon Lake webpage, "the mission of the St. Barnabas Community Cupboard is to provide free, supplemental food for those in need, honoring their dignity through anonymity and quality choices. The Community Cupboard is housed in the large vestibule on the south side of the building at 468 Bradley Road, which is easily accessible from the Bay Lodge parking lot. The exterior door is open and accessible for anyone seeking food from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day. Fresh, dry and frozen foods are available. It’s completely anonymous, so take what you need and leave what you can." (avonlake.org)
  2. According to cleveland.com, "The Avon on the Lake Garden Club recently donated baskets to Community Resource Service (CRS) to help out those in need this holiday season.
