Getting Out Before the Storm

Avon Lake photographer Bob Quinlan snapped this photo of boaters trying to get their boats out at Miller Road Park before the rains came.

Prior to the storm, dark clouds--and thunder--rolled into the area.

Parts of Avon Lake received some welcome rain after 12:30 p.m. today. Meanwhile, residents in Avon reported they received "not one drop."

The storm lasted maybe 15 minutes.
