Here are the top three stories today in Avon-Avon Lake:

1. It's the season of giving and donations of all kinds are currently needed for Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services (CRS) holiday programs including children's jackets, family gift baskets, non-perishable food, items for seniors and teenagers. All donations (please do not wrap gifts), except senior gift items, should be dropped off at Santa’s Workshop, 33455 Lake Road in Avon Lake. Senior gift items should be dropped off at the CRS office, 33479 Lake Road, Suite C, in Avon Lake, during regular business hours, which are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
