1. According to cleveland.com, "If you missed the city’s annual tree lighting event earlier this month, you can still enjoy the holiday light display at the Avon Aquatic Facility, 36265 Detroit Road. Kudos to the city for creating such a festive location for the community to enjoy during the holiday season. It’s worth a visit if you are out and about enjoying other holiday light displays in the area. 2. In nearby Lorian, according to the Mourning Journals, "the Eagles Building, one of the taller and older structures in downtown Lorain, has avoided the wrecking ball. The city of Lorain Demolition Board of Appeals on Dec. 15, granted the owner, Eagles Revitalization LLC, more time to provide information on repairs made to the building located at 573-575 Broadway."
