Home Run for the Homeless Leads Off Saturday

It's about time to dust off those running shoes and show your support as Neighborhood Alliance brings back their annual 5K runand one-mile family walk Home Run for the Homeless.

The event kicks off on Saturday, April 27, at All Pro Freight Stadium.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Neighborhood Alliance Haven Center Homeless Shelter, an extended stay homeless shelter in Lorain County serving men, women and children.

Coordinators would like to engage corporate, youth and family teams in the community to join together to fight homelessness in Lorain County.

100 percent of the donations collected from this event stay in Lorain County.

The Neighborhood Alliance has been working with the community since 1927.
