1. Are you a pizza lover? Then you are in luck! According to cleveland.com, "the space formerly occupied by D’Tutanelli’s Pizza, 36962 Detroit Road, will not sit empty for long. White Box Pizza is slated to open next month. (The exact date has yet to be determined). According to the information posted on the White Box Pizza Facebook page, White Box Pizza is the “collaboration of three independent pizzeria owners who have come together to form a super pizza team." 2. According to cleveland.com, "it won’t be long before the impressive display of military veteran banners are up along Detroit Road (for Memorial Day). The city is currently accepting applications for the banner program to honor and remember those who have served. The cost per banner is $175. Banner space is limited. 3. Save the date for this special community event! According to a Facebook post on the City of Avon Lake, Ohio page, "the ALHS National English Honor Society members and the Avon Lake Public Library are hosting author Thrity Umigar [on] March 30. She will speak at ALHS in the PAC at 1 p.m. and then at the library at 7 p.m. She will be signing copies of her book, 'Honor,' at 2 p.m. at the PAC."Hope to see you there!
