Rotary's 7th Annual Great Pizza Bake-Off is Thursday, Sept. 26

The Great Pizza Bake-Off once again kicks off Homecoming weekend on Thursday, Sept. 26 fro 5 p.m - 8 p.m. 

The wildly popular event, which is the Rotary Club's major fundraiser, will again be held in the Avon Lake High School Commons. 

The $10 fee  ($5 for 12 and under) will get you unlimited pizza (including dessert pizza) and a chance to vote for your favorite vendor:  Antonio’s, Cici’s, Coleone’s, Domino’s, Doughboy’s, Marco’s, Romeo’s and Pizza Hut.  

Students from the culinary program at the Lorain County JVS will once again offer dessert pizzas.  

Attendees can vote for People’s Choice, Best Pepperoni and Best Specialty pizzas.  Trophies will be awarded and reputations will be maintained or gained. 

Tickets at $10 for adults and $5 for children, age 12 and under, will be available at the door.  

Proceeds fund Rotary’s local scholarships for Avon, Avon Lake and Brookside high schools.
