If the Schwartz/Nagel intersection in Avon is in your plans for the next several months, heed the warning: It will be closed.Â
"The Schwartz Nagel intersection project is on schedule," Avon City Engineer Rob Knopf said in a press release. "We will be entering the intersection of Schwartz/ Nagel Road starting Tuesday, Sept. 3."
The intersection will be completely closed down from that point until December 2013 or when it is deemed safe to allow for thru traffic. Â
The only traffic allowed within the construction zone will be residents who live in the construction zone, school buses and service vehicles. No one else will be allowed through. Â
If there are any questions, please see the onsite inspector, Jim Elkin, or contact the City Engineer, Robert Knopf, at 440-934-7520 or rknopf@cityofavon.com.
