1. According to The Morning Journal, "51-46 seems to be the double-edged sword for Avon Lake. The Shoregals suffered a 51-46 overtime loss to Brunswick in their second game of the season. But on Dec. 5, they broke through to edge North Ridgeville, 51-46, in a Southwestern Conference showdown." Congratulations girls! (The Morning Journal)
2. Do you love this time of year? Why not take a Holiday Lights Bus Tour on Wednesday, December 14? According to the Avon Lake events, "Meet at Lake House, 32756 Lake Road. Pre-registration is required. Each person in your party must register. Enjoy the holiday light displays around town while you listen to holiday music aboard one of our Avon Lake school buses. The tour will begin boarding the buses at 6:25 p.m. for an approximate 60-90 minute ride including a special stop along the way where guests will be encouraged to get out and enjoy the light display. The special stop will include a gift for children 12 and under, while supplies last. (Note: The buses are Avon Lake school buses and are not handicapped accessible)." (Avon Lake events)
