Superintendent, Councilwoman will Read at Library's Saturday Read-A-Thon
Stop in at the children's area between noon and 2 p.m. April 20.

The Avon Branch Library Teen Volunteer Group is hosting the Community Read-A-Thon in celebration of National Library Week (April 14 - 20) that will include a number of respected community members reading from their favorite books.
Guest readers include Michael Laub, a school board member, a principal and various other people who work in schools. Also scheduled to read are a doctor and a Cub Scout leader. Avon City Council members Mary Berges and Daniel Urban are taking time out of their weekend to share, as well.
Come to the children’s area in the Library anytime between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, to hear a story.Â

The event organized by the library’s Teen Volunteer Group, a 47-member strong group comprised of sixth through 12th-graders. The group, which will celebrate its one-year anniversary soon, has become very active in the community.
 The Avon Branch Library is located at 37485 Harvest Drive, Avon.
