1. Warm up and stop by TropiCLE Plants where it’s always 72 (degrees) and sunny inside. According to cleveland.com, "The new shop opened last week at 33117 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville (Mills Creek Plaza) and offers an assortment of small and large house plants, as well as other plant services. Owner Brian Martin has turned his passion for plants into a growing business. “My love for taking care of plants comes from my dad, who grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and moved to Cleveland after meeting my mom,” said Martin. “Since he couldn’t farm anymore here, he had a passion for planting different trees around the yard and taking care of plants and passed it down to me so that’s where it started for me. I have been taking care of plants for a while now at home. I have been in sales and marketing for about 10 years so I just decided to follow my passion. 3. According to Fox News, "a bill that would have banned biological males from playing on girls' sports teams in Ohio failed to pass in the state's General Assembly last Thursday.
   The amended bill, which cleared the state Senate, 23-7, before it narrowly fell in the statehouse, would also have given the governor greater power over the state Department of Education and banned discrimination against students based on COVID-19 vaccination status. Republican state Rep. Jena Powell introduced the transgender student-athlete amendment to the bill. The amendment said no school or athletic conference "shall permit individuals of the male sex to participate on athletic teams or in athletic competitions designated only for participants of the female sex."'
