• Canton City Council to vote on proposed $339 million temporary budget (cantonrep.com) — Canton City Council is set to vote Monday on a $339 million temporary budget that will keep city services and payroll running into early 2026 while a permanent plan is finalized. Spending for major project funds is trimmed for now, but officials say alley paving, neighborhood upgrades, and higher police and fire budgets will still move forward as revenues are clarified.
