• Canton's Hope Depot offers free hot meals with a side of faith (cantonrep.com) — A new faith-based cafe on Fulton Road NW in Canton is serving free, home-cooked meals three days a week to anyone in need, no questions asked. Run by Rev. Mervin and Rachel Yoder with donated food and volunteer help, Hope Depot focuses on feeding the homeless, recently released inmates, and others who may never walk into a traditional church.
   

• Stark Sheriff's Office adopts Blue Envelope Program (cantonrep.com) — Stark County Sheriff’s Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol are now using the Blue Envelope Program to make traffic stops and emergencies safer for people with communication-related disabilities in the Canton area. Residents can get free blue envelope packets through the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and North Canton police plan to distribute them at 2026 community events.
