- The City of Cincinnati sued the owners of the Williamsburg Apartments of Cincinnati for maintaining substandard living conditions, including water damage and mold from leaking pipes, blocked sewer lines, and hazardous wiring. Yesterday, Jan. 11, Mayor Aftab Pureval said, “I want to be clear that we aren’t talking about a one-time violation here. This is a pattern, and we’re filing today’s lawsuit to put an end to that pattern.” (The Cincinnati Herald)
- On Jan. 17, Cincinnati’s third annual National Day of Racial Healing will occur at various locations and will have both in-person and virtual presentations. Angela Davis is the virtual keynote speaker, and Anna Gifty Opoku-Agyeman is the in-person keynote speaker. (Fox 19)
- Yesterday, Jan. 11, Cincinnati native Lacey Roberts was named WLWT News 5 Today's anchor on Saturday and Sunday mornings. WLWT News Director Jeff Benscoter said, "Lacey grew up in Cincinnati, and that is a huge advantage as an anchor and reporter in her hometown.
