- The Cleveland Division of Police announced the discovery of two bodies in Lake Erie on Monday, Feb. 13. The bodies were recovered by Metroparks police and will be identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s office. The discovery comes after a search for two missing men, Elce Malik-Bey and Raymond Lumpkin, who were last seen by their family on Feb. 10 while on a fishing trip. The description of the recovered bodies is consistent with that of the missing individuals. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
- On Thursday, the Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC) announced plans to displace the residents of Euclid Beach Mobile Home Park and turn the land into green space as part of the Cleveland Metroparks System. The 28-acre property sits on the lakefront and between Villa Angela Park and Wildwood Marina to the east and Euclid Beach Park to the west, both of which are city-owned and managed by Cleveland Metroparks. Over 100 residents will lose their homes and are expected to have up to 16 months to secure new housing. (Cleveland 19 News)
- U.S. Marshals are offering a reward for information leading to the capture of Joshua Lynch, a 35-year-old man who is suspected of committing a homicide on Feb. 8 and violating his parole. Authorities believe that Lynch was responsible for the death of Jovon Lynch, who was found dead inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. Joshua is known to frequent the Cleveland and Elyria area; anyone with information about Lynch's whereabouts is asked to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Task Force. (Cleveland 19 News)
