Anthony Bourdain Inspired Tasting Experience at StoneWaterStoneWater Adds Second Date

Anthony Bourdain was a celebrated chef, author, and travel documentarian known for his adventurous storytelling and deep appreciation of global cuisine. Due to popular demand, StoneWater is adding a second date for its exclusive tasting dinner experience inspired by the many delicious dishes Bourdain created and discovered throughout his travels.

The additional event will take place on Thursday, March 6, offering guests another opportunity to indulge in a thoughtfully curated menu that pays tribute to Bourdain’s culinary journey.
“Our menu is based on dishes that span Bourdain’s career and travels,” says Executive Chef Kathryn Neidus. “From his early days as a young chef to the farthest reaches of his career, the tasting is a beautiful encapsulation of Bourdain’s achievements as a chef.”

The Menu begins with Bourdain’s Classic Onion Soup from Brasserie Les Halles, New York, followed by Fried Mortadella from Sao Paulo and featured in season three, episode four of No Reservations.

The First Course is the Noix De St. Jacques Poelees Sauce au Champagne, consisting of scallops and artichoke barigoule in a champagne cream sauce. The dish comes from Brasserie Les Halles, New York.

The Second Course features the Chicken B’Stilla, chicken with spicy omelet stuffing, fried almonds, and cous cous. The dish comes from Fes, Morrocco and was featured in season one, episode 12 of A Cook’s Tour.

The Third Course is Bún Chá, which is a grilled pork belly in brith, served with noodles and chilies. The dish comes from Hanoi, Vietnam and was included in season one, episode eight of Part’s Unknown, which featured former United States President Barack Obama.

The Fourth Course is a Coconut Flan from Puerto Rico. The dish was featured in season 10, episode six of Parts Unknown.

In addition to a full bar, a curated list of Bourdain’s favorite beverages will also be available for purchase.
